My name is Danithia van Weenum, and I love designing spaces, both large and small, and bringing them to life. With a broad knowledge of materials, I enjoy working across every facet of set and prop design, from concept to execution. That’s why I find the combination of live action and stop motion so exciting: each medium offers unique challenges and creative possibilities.

Outside of film work, I love experimenting with different creative techniques, many of which find their way back into my professional projects. After studying Spatial Design, I realized that shaping spaces and installations was what inspired me most. This led me to study Production Design at the Netherlands Film Academy in Amsterdam. During my time there, I interned at HolyMotion, where I discovered my passion for stop-motion animation and miniatures.
